You made it! Your efforts have paid off. You can look back with pride on the rigors you have exerted for your studies- the sleepless nights, stressful deadlines, solitary walks, and unforgettable experiences which enhanced your competencies and skills that maketh a Sebastinian student. We look at you with much pride as you have reverently satisfied your loved ones’ greatest wish and for living up to the ideals and expectations of SSC-R Manila! Completing the much-coveted college degree is quite an achievement, especially under trying circumstances and during this pandemic. Notwithstanding all the aforementioned challenges, you have triumph!
As graduates of SSC-R Manila, you face a bright, albeit demanding, future. After all, your “Catholic Sebastinian education and formation” and industry experience have equipped you well to be the best in your chosen field. With this, I pose the challenge for you to use these experiences to shape morally upright and responsible citizens and leaders. More so, I challenge you to internalize and personify the virtue of Caritas et Scientia and the core values of SSC-R Manila because these are the best ways to greatness.
Now that you have made it, start working on it not just for the financial gains but for what you can contribute in nation-building. May your life be a genuine success story in the future as you will now be able to extend the spirit of “caritas” to the many people whose lives your work will touch.
“Sobrang paghanga namin sa nakamit nýong tagumpay! Nakaka-proud at nakakaiyak habang pinapanood namin ang pictures at videos na inaabot ng mahal nýo sa buhay ang diploma o medalya at kasama ang buong pamilya na nagbubunyi. Pacencya na po kayo na naging emosyonal po kami bilang “tatay, nanay, guro, kapatid at kaibigan” nýo sa ETEEAP (kasama ang mga Paring Recoletos, Lay Administrators, mga guro sa ETEEAP, mga empleyado, at sina Lyn, Eden, Liezel, Mafe, at Via). Naala-ala pa po namin ang inyong “ETEEAP journey” sa SSC-R Manila at ang mga kwentuhan natin simula noong applicant pa lang kayo, sa panel interview, sa mga klase, at iba pang aktibidad. Alam namin at alam ng Diyos na tama kami sa pagtitiwala at paniniwala namin sa inyong labimpito (17) na nagsisipag-tapos simula noon, ngayon, at magpakailanman. Ipagpapatuloy nyo po ang magandang nasimulan at ang kabutihan ng iyong puso sa iyong sarili, pamilya, at kapwa-tao. Nawaý taas-noo at habang-buhay nýong itataguyod ang pagiging isang tunay na Kristiyano, Recoleto, at Sebastino.”
